Evan is a PhD student in UC San Diego's Department of Political Science and School of Global Policy and Strategy. His research interests include trade, technology, and democracy, with a specific focus on the relationship between international trade and interstate conflict. Some of his current work assesses the indirect effects of the liberal peace and studies how global trade routes influence the location of interstate conflict. Evan received his BA in Political Science/International Relations from UC San Diego and his MA in Democracy and Governance from Georgetown University.
